Add tomato, carrot, parwal, kundru, drumstick and saute for few srconds. Add salt, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and saute for few minutes until all veggies are nicely covered with masala.
  3. Now add dal, mix nicely. Add water if required. Add sambar masala, sugar, lemon juice. Cover with lid and keep on low to medium flame for 3-4 minutes to cook.
