  17. Get 50 ml Maple Syrup
  18. Make ready 100 ml Caramel Sugar
  19. Prepare 75 ml Orley Whip
  20. Take 50 g Margarine
  21. Take 1 ml Salt
  22. Get 1 ml Cinnamon
  23. Get 1 ml Vanilla Essence
  24. Take 300 ml Pecan Nuts (Roasted and Chopped)
Instructions to make Gluten free Pecan Pie Brownie:
  1. For Crust: Combine the flour, brown sugar, xanthan gum and margarine until it comes together.
  2. With a spoon or spatula evenly spread out the dough onto a greased baking tray.
  3. Bake for 20min on 170°C. Leave to cool.
  4. For Brownies: Beat the eggs and sugar together until pale.
  5. Melt the chocolate and margarine together and add to egg mixture. Mix well.
  6. Sieve in the cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder and fold in.
  7. Evenly spread mixture over crust and bake for 20-25min on 170°C. Leave to cool.
  8. In a sauce pan, mix the syrup, sugar, Orley Whip, margarine, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Heat the mixture to 118°C.
  9. Mix in the Pecan nuts and stir well.
  10. Pour over brownie and leave to cool completely before cutting up and serving.
