  1. Soak moong dal for overnight. Take out water in the morning.Grind it coarse in texture.
  2. Take ghee in a non stick pan and add dal.Start frying on medium heat.
  3. On other side boil milk,water and sugar together. After 15 mts When dal is half fried add milk into it.
  4. Continue frying till whole milk is absorbed.
  5. Continue frying halwa.When it becomes smooth and ghee starts oozing out,switch off the gas.
  6. Add elaichi pdr and small pieces of cashews and almonds.
  7. Hot halwa is ready to serve.
