  23. Take 1/4 tsp hing
  24. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seed
  25. Get 1 tsp mustard seed

  27. Get 2 tbsp ghee
Instructions to make Slow cooker chickpea and lentils:
  1. Saute vegetables in slow cooker with lid on for first 5min. Take lid off and stop when cabbage has wilted down.
  2. Add proteins, spices and sauce ingredients to slow cooker. Cook hi for 4 hrs.
  3. In a small pan heat ghee on medium high heat. Add remaining tempering ingredients and heat with stirring for about 2 min/until very fragrant. Add to slow cooker.
