Heat the oil in a pan and add little bit of mustard seeds and kalonji and fennel seeds to there and stir it's just few seconds.
Add washed peeled and chopped pumpkin and chopped potato pieces (potato optional) and fry them incorporating the things in the heated cooking pan for few seconds.
