Lot of layers with lasagna, but start off with Ragú's Classic Alfredo Sauce. Those are my two most favorite qualities I look for in a recipe. 😉. Making the lasagna crust is actually the hardest part of this recipe.

The ingredients needed to make Two layer alfredo lasagna:
  1. Make ready 1 box lasagna noodles
  2. Prepare 1 large onion, chopped
  3. Get 1/2 packages spinach
  4. Prepare 1 cup sliced mushroom
  5. Make ready 1 clove garlic, minced
  6. Take 2 chicken breasts
  7. Make ready 15 oz ricotta cheese
  8. Get 15 oz alfredo sauce
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp oregano
  10. Make ready salt & black pepper
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp olive oil
  12. Make ready aluminum foil

Lasagna with homemade alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, pesto, basil, sun dried tomatoes, and mushrooms (optional). Pour the rest of the alfredo sauce over the top… and don't put the last cheese layer on yet! You are going to cook the lasagna without the epic top cheese layer first!! Pour chicken and alfredo sauce mixture over noodle layer and spread evenly.

Instructions to make Two layer alfredo lasagna:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Cook lasagna noodles in salted water.
  3. Meanwhile cube chicken breasts and add to pan. Season chicken with oregano and garlic.
  4. In a seperate pan add olive oil, salt & black pepper, sliced mushrooms, and chopped onion. Simmer until onions are translucent.
  5. Fold ricotta, alfredo sauce, and spinach into the onions and mushrooms and remove pan from heat.
  6. Oil the 9x13 pan and add a layer of lasagna noodles. (i used 3 noodles each layer, 9 noodles total)
  7. Cover the noodles with the sauce mixture in a semi-thick fashion. Then add the cubed chicken. Another layer of noodles. And so on so forth until all ingredients are used. (make sure you leave enough sauce to cover the top of the noodles when done layering)
  8. Once everything is layered cover pan with the aluminium foil and put in preheated oven.
  9. Bake covered for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Remove lasagna from oven and let it settle for five minutes. Uncover. Serve. And enjoy!'

You are going to cook the lasagna without the epic top cheese layer first!! Pour chicken and alfredo sauce mixture over noodle layer and spread evenly.
