  1. Soak chick peas overnight.
  2. Roughly chop beetroot, onion, garlic, green chilli and coriander leaves.
  3. Place the soaked and drained chickpeas to a grinder.
  4. Also add the chopped veggies.
  5. Add the spices like cumin seeds, chilli flakes, coriander powder, sesame paste and salt.
  6. Add 2-3 tablespoon of water and grind to a little coarse paste.
  7. Take some roasted sesame seeds in a plate.
  8. I have a felafal mould by which I am making the shape of felafal. But ofcourse you can also shape them with your hand.
  9. Take felafal mould, coat the surface with sesame seeds.
  10. Now fill the mould with chick pea battar.
  11. Drop the felafal in hot oil.
  12. Fry them in medium heat on both sides for 6-7 minutes or until crisp.
  13. Transfer to a paper towel.
  14. For the spread take mayonnaise and sesame paste to a bowl.
  15. Mix together well and keep aside.
  16. For the feta cheese salad slice thinly the veggies and chop roughly lettuce.
  17. Place them in a bowl with some chopped coriander leaves.
  18. Add salt and mix them well.
