Get 1/2 cup besan
Take 1 tsp red chilli powder

Take Oil for frying
Make ready 4-5 Pav
Prepare 4-5 tomato slices
Make ready 4-5 onion slices
Take 4-5 green capsicum slices
Take 4-5 tsp vada Pav dry garlic chutney
Take 4-5 tsp burger mayonnaise
Take Lettuce leaves as required
Instructions to make Mumbai Style Desi Burger:
To prepare batata wada.peel and mashed potatoes in mixing bowl. Add green chillies ginger paste,ginger paste,salt, lemon juice. In tadka pan add heat oil. Add urad dal and saute till pinkish. Add mustard seeds, cummin seeds,as splutter add curry leaves and tumeric powder, asafoetida. Add this to boiled potatoes mixture. Divide into 4 portions and make flatten balls. Keep aside.
In another mixing bowl add besan,salt,red chilli powder and mix well. Add little water to make pakoda batter.
Heat oil for frying. Add soda bi carb in besan batter and mix well. Dip each prepared spicy potato flatten balls in besan batter and drop it in hot oil. Deep fry wadas on medium flame till crispy golden brown.
Chop Tomato,Onion and Green capsicum slices..At the time of making. Keep all ingredients required ready to prepare desi burger.
Slit each pav into half. Roast on both sides to make it warm. On lower side sprinkle vada pav spicy garlic chutney as shown.
On it placed lettuce leaf. On it prepare batata wada..as shown.
On it placed capsicum slice, tomato slice,onion slice one upon another.. as shown
Apply burger mayonnaise on another's pav slice as shown. Cover it. Similarly prepare all.
