  15. Make ready Sauce Mix Ingredients
  16. Take 3-4 Spring Onions
  17. Take 1/2 Onion
  18. Get 1/2 Capsicum

  20. Make ready 7-8 Garlic Cloves
  21. Take 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  22. Make ready 3 Table Spoon Honey
  23. Take 1 Tea Spoon Red Chilli Paste
  24. Get 2 Table Spoon Soya Sauce
  25. Make ready 1 Table Spoon Vinegar
  26. Prepare 1 Tea Spoon Cornstarch
  27. Take 1 Tea Spoon Tomato Ketchup
  28. Prepare 1/4 Tea Spoon Kaali Mirch Powder
  29. Take 1/4 Tea Spoon Ajinomoto (Optional)
  30. Make ready 1/2 Tea Spoon Sesame Seeds/ Til
Steps to make Honey Chilli Potato:
  1. Wash all vegetables properly.
  2. Peel off the skin from aloo & then cut them in shape of sticks or use a French fries chopper.
  3. Chop Onion, white part of spring onions, Ginger, Garlic & capsicum very-very finely.
  4. Keep green part of spring onions aside to use them for garnishing.
  5. Now take a pan or Kadhai, add water in it & keep the gas on medium flame.
  6. When water starts boiling, add 1 Teaspoon Salt with chopped aloo French fries in it.
  7. Boil them till they are 60% cooked & don’t boil them because while coating them on mixture they will break but after frying them they will become more soft.
  8. Boil them for 7-8 minutes.
  9. After 7-8 minutes, turn off the flame, strain out all the water from them & let them cool down.
  10. After some time, take a bowl add dry coating ingredients in it with boiled French fries pieces & mix them properly.
  11. Now let the dry coating rest for 4-5 minutes.
  12. Meanwhile, take another bowl, add wet coating Ingredients in it & mix them properly.
  13. After 4-5 minutes, pour wet coating on top of dry coating & mix them properly.
  14. Now remember, to make chilli potato crispy, you have to fry them twice, first on medium flame till coating is set & second time on high flame till they turn into golden brown in colour.
  15. Then take a kadhai, add oil in it & keep the gas on medium flame.
  16. When oil gets heated up, add coated potato pieces in it & fry them for 2-3 minutes till their coating is set.
  17. After 2-3 minutes, when coating is set, turn off the flame, take them out in a plate & let them cool down properly.
  18. If aloo pieces are sticked together while frying don’t worry they can be separated after they cool down.
  19. After some time, again turn on the gas & this time keep it on high flame.
  20. Now add aloo French fries pieces in it & fry them till they turn into golden brown in colour.
  21. After 1-2 minutes, when they turn into golden brown in colour, turn off the flame & take them out in a bowl or a plate.
  22. Now take a big Kadhai or a wok, add 1/2 Big Spoon Oil in it & keep the gas on medium-high flame.
  23. When oil gets heated up, add finely chopped vegetables in it & cook them for 1-2 minutes till they become translucent/ soft.
  24. After 1-2 minutes, add sauce mix ingredients in it with some wat & mix them properly & let it boil.
  25. When gravy or sauce starts boiling, turn off the gas & add fried aloo pieces in it & mix them with sauce properly.
  26. Remember to turn off the gas first before adding fried French fries pieces otherwise they will become soft.
  27. Sprinkle Sesame Seeds & Green Part of Spring Onions on top.
  28. Your Honey Chilli Potato is ready to be served.
