  1. Prepare 200 gms whole black urad / split black urad dal
  2. Prepare 50 gm red rajma
  3. Take 50 gm chana dal
  4. Take 2-3 bay leaves
  5. Get 1 pinch soda bi carb
  6. Make ready 2 +2 tbsp ghee
  7. Get 2 onions finely chopped
  8. Get 100 gm tomatoes (pureed)
  9. Get 1/2 cup fresh cream
  10. Prepare to taste Salt
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  12. Take 11/2 tbsp green chillies paste
  13. Prepare 2 tbsp ginger- garlic paste
  14. Get 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  15. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  16. Make ready 1 tbsp butter
Instructions to make Restaurant Style Dal Makhani:
  1. Wash and soak whole black urad,rajma,chanadal in water for 6 hours. Pressure cook all with pinch of soda bi carb and bay leaves for 4-5 whistles. Discard the bay leaves from cook dal.
  2. In kadhai add & heat 2 tbsp ghee,add green chillies paste,saute for 30 secs,then add & saute chopped onions. Now add & mix tomatoes puree and boiled dal. After 2-3 boils add & mix fresh cream,cook again for 2-3 mins. Remove from flame.
  3. In small tadka pan add & heat remaining 2 tbsp ghee, add cummin seeds as they splutter add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1 min. Add & mix finely chopped coriander leaves,red chilli powder. Pour this tadka on prepared dal. Immediately cover the dal with lid.
  4. Add butter at the time of serving. Serve/ Relish Delicious Restaurant Style Dal Makhani with Garlic Butter Naan or Jeera Rice.
