  6. Pour batter into pan and bake for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cake to cool 15 or 20 minutes in the pan.
  8. Gently remove and serve at room temperature with fresh fruit or lemon curd.
