The ingredients needed to make Cabbage Casserole:
  1. Prepare 1 head cabbage
  2. Take 1 lb ground sausage
  3. Make ready 1 box jiffy cornbread
  4. Make ready 1 can cream of chicken soup
  5. Make ready 1 salt
  6. Get 1 pepper
Steps to make Cabbage Casserole:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°
  2. Cook sausage in separate pan til brown. Do not drain
  3. once sausage is cooked, put cut up cabbage in separate pan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. add sausage and drippings to raw cabbage and cook until cabbage is tender (about 20 - 25 mins)
  5. mix jiffy cornbread according to packaging
  6. once cabbage is done, pour mixture into a 8" x11" casserole dish and combine cream of chicken soup.
  7. mix together thoroughly and add jiffy cornbread on top(do not mix together)
  8. bake for 20 mins or until cornbread is golden brown
