  1. Marinate the chicken with all the above mentioned ingredients starting from salt to coriander leaves overnight.
  2. Now stuff the chicken inside a bamboo.
  3. Close with the banana leaves.
  4. Cover with a foil and tie it with a wire preferably.
  5. Cook on a medium flame for 45 minutes.
  6. Keep rotating it at intervals.
  7. When cool enough, remove the banana leaf stuffing.
  8. Cover with a newspaper.
  9. Remove the cooked chicken on a serving plate.
  10. Serve as appetizers with onion rings, chilies, a sprinkle of fried onions and lemon wedges.
